All of the money in the world wasn’t going to be able to keep her happy and I knew it. Scaling back on work would be difficult but it was the only thing that was going to make her happy. She needed more of me, more of my time and I had to give it to her to keep her from leaving me. I loved her and it was high time I showed it. I needed to prove that and being the caring devoted wife that she was she deserved it.
